Amber Valley Liberal Democrats re-affirm our commitment to the pre-amble to our party federal constitution which states:

The Liberal Democrats exist to build and safeguard a fair, free and open society, in which we seek to balance the fundamental values of liberty, equality and community, and in which no-one shall be enslaved by poverty, ignorance or conformity.

Amber Valley Lib Dems believe “in a modern, forward-thinking Britain and Derbyshire of genuine openness and equality without exception. We will champion a society and community where everyone is treated with dignity and respect, irrespective of any part of an individual’s identity”
